My style is warm, yet direct…I will challenge you to be real and grow

My Passion

My passion is to challenge people to grow, create healthy relationships, and see families thrive! Pain can keep us stuck until we understand the gift it presents. When you see the pain you have endured as a gift and as an opportunity to grow, then you are positioned to honor those experiences, move through them, and intentionally and authentically create the life you want and deserve.

My Approach

My approach is integrative and holistic - connecting body, soul, and spirit to bring you into a place of wholeness. I work experientially for our sessions to feel safe, supportive, and connected. Together we can face the painful places in your life where you can find emotional repair, healing from painful memories, awareness of your patterns, and healing in your relationships. As you move towards wholeness, we will focus on identifying your blind spots and shifting your mindset as you learn to take good care of yourself.

My Background

With an MBA from the University of Illinois, an MA in Counseling from The Townsend Institute at Concordia University Irvine, and extensive experience with spirituality, I have a unique perspective in relating to issues that are personal, relational, faith-based, or business related.

My Heart

When I am not engaging with clients in therapy, I enjoy hanging out with my husband of 27 years, and sons, ages 23 and 19 (when they allow it…kids), reading (I am a happy book hoarder), training my puppies (who do therapy with me when requested), boating (mostly on Lake St. Clair but preferably on Lake Charlevoix), shooting sporting clays (with shotguns), and walking (the only form of exercise I do)!

Every person must choose how much truth he can stand.
